Houzz Pro vs NYA
Houzz Pro at $249 plus seats versus NYA's flat tiers: pricing, contract length, marketplace leads and ceiling-plan output, checked 2026-08-01.
By Idan Mann, founder of NYA
The short answer
Houzz Pro and NYA differ on price shape, commitment and reach. Houzz Pro is $249/mo for Pro plus $60 per extra user, with a stated 12-month minimum; NYA is $49–$299/mo in flat team tiers with no minimum term. NYA draws reflected ceiling plans, while Houzz Pro wins when its homeowner marketplace and lead products justify the higher bill.

Where Houzz Pro is the better choice
Where we are the better choice
- You want a lower published price that stays flat inside each team tier.
- Your team is going to grow, and you do not want the bill to grow with it.
- You do not want a twelve-month commitment on software you have used for a week.
- You draw lighting or ceiling plans and are currently paying for CAD separately.

- Houzz Pro over a year: a five-person Pro team pays $5,868 total ($489/mo) before advertising — the $249 base plus four $60 seats.
- NYA over a year: a five-person studio pays $1,548 total ($129/mo), all-in and published.
The contract, in Houzz's own words
Leaving is also gated by a cancellation notice window, so the calendar — your renewal date and the 30-day notice rule — decides when payments actually stop. Our cancellation guide documents what Houzz's own pages say about the process.
The Ivy precedent
One more thing designers weigh in this comparison: Houzz acquired Ivy, closed it to new members, and Ivy's pricing page now redirects to Houzz Pro — the migration was one-way. That history is the single most common reason we hear for wanting a vendor whose pricing and terms are published in writing before committing. Whatever you choose, get the terms on paper.
Common questions
- Is NYA a replacement for Houzz Pro's lead generation?
- No. Houzz is a marketplace with genuine consumer reach, and its advertising packages (from $499/mo) exist to sell that reach. NYA does not generate leads — it runs proposals, selections, client approvals, invoices and ceiling plans for the clients you already have.
- How much cheaper is NYA than Houzz Pro?
- At five seats, Houzz Pro is $489/month ($249 Pro plus four $60 users) and NYA is $129/month, a difference of $360/month or $4,320/year before any Houzz advertising. Houzz's Custom tier remains quote-only. Prices checked on the vendors' pages on 2026-08-01.
- Does Houzz Pro require a 12-month contract?
- Yes. Houzz's own free-trial page states that minimum contract lengths are 12 months and that the trial auto-continues into a paid term unless cancelled first. NYA has no minimum term and a 7-day trial, cancel anytime.
- Can Houzz Pro draw reflected ceiling plans?
- Houzz Pro advertises AI 3D floor plans but does not advertise reflected ceiling plans. NYA includes an RCP editor with dimensioned PDF sheet export, which otherwise usually means a separate CAD subscription.
